Distributing updated files

If the BlueCielo ImandrA Desktop setup program detects a subfolder named SetupUpdateFiles located in the folder that contains the setup program, the setup program will automatically update files with the same locations and names on the client computer just before the installation is completed. This allows you to distribute user settings that are stored in files along with the installation.

To distribute user settings files:

1. Create a subfolder named SetupUpdateFiles in the folder that contains the setup program.
2. Create a subfolder structure within SetupUpdateFiles that contains the files to update. You can use the following special subfolder names:
   
   (ProgramFiles): represents the Program Files folder on the client computer.
   
   (InstallDir): represents the folder on the client computer where the BlueCielo ImandrA software is installed. By default, the folder is located at C:\Program Files\CADCompany\ImandrA.

The following example path shows the location of a file named dataconfiguration.config that will be updated on all client computers after installation.

<ImandrADesktopSetupFolder>\SetupUpdateFiles\(Program Files)\CADCompany\Common Files\MSEntLib\1.5.0.0\Config\dataconfiguration.config
